From the Back Cover

For 75 years, the law firm of Thelen Reid & Priest LLP has provided legal services to participants of all sizes and all kinds in the construction process, including contractors, public and private owners, subcontractors, design professionals, program managers, suppliers and manufacturers.

Thelen Reid has had the privilege of being involved in some of the 20th Century's greatest construction projects, including the English Channel Tunnel, Los Angeles Metro Rail system, Bay Area Rapid Transit system, Hoover Dam and the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Some of those projects as well as others with which the firm was involved are pictured on this book cover.

In building the nation's pre-eminent construction law practice, Thelen Reid lawyers developed the capability to deliver the full range of legal services necessary to meet the unique needs of the construction industry. Those needs include drafting, review and negotiation of contracts; claims preparation; litigation and alternative dispute resolution; project development and finance; corporate and business structuring; taxation; licensing, registration and regulation; insurance and risk management; labor and employment negotiations, counseling and litigation; government relations; real estate transactions; and environmental counseling.
