A Classic,

One of the truly great albums of the 1990's. Released during the heyday of grunge, all of those knuckleheads that moved to Seattle should have been paying attention to this instead, because this record blows most of the competition away.I saw Arc Angels play in Charleston back in 1992, and can only add on to the folklore that continues to surround this band. That concert was one of the best experiences I have EVER had at a live show; these guys were the total package.

I recently saw a concert on Austin City Limits that featured Doyle Bramhall II. His guitar playing and vocals were awesome. All I could say was "who is this guy and why havent I heard of him?" Needless to say, I checked the web and found that he was a member of the Arc Angels. So I tracked down this album and it is great Texas rock. Stevie Ray would be very proud with his rhythm section hooking up with these 2 great guitar slingers (Charlie Sexton is the other). I will highly recommend this album to my friends. My 2 favorite cuts are "Living In A Dream" and "Sent by Angels".

The Best, Bar None,

I completely agree with every review on this page. The only thing I can add is that I saw the band at The Paradise in Boston in December 1992, and no other rock show I have ever seen compares. That statement includes the big names like Aerosmith, Van Halen, U2, Rush, Rolling Stones, and as well the lesser known names like Ian Moore, Buddy Guy, and the Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies. The Arc Angels' was the only show I left absolutely speechless, due to the awe-inspiring and powerful performance from beginning to end. I hope that Sexton, Bramhall, Shannon and Layton read this stuff so they can know how their fans feel; Guys, if your reading, GET THE BAND BACK TOGETHER!! WE NEED ANOTHER ALBUM AND ANOTHER TOUR!!
