Embark on the awe-inspiring journey Steve Roach has created for us this time around. The lluminating fractal expanse envelops you and you become one with the music. Layers of sonic wonder permeate you as you listen. This is a true gem of a double album. The treated didgeridoo on disc 2 is a nice touch. I am very satisfied with this work. If you like Steve Roach and other ambient music, you will probably be satisfied too. Enjoy!

Roach's Latest Opus is filled with a wonderously fluid emotive power. It moves flawlessly from a DEEP OCEAN AMBIENCE, then (for approximately 40 minutes) soars into an almost tribal RHYTHMIC AMBIENT stratosphere, reminiscient of Tangerine Dream's RUBYCON, and out into the majesty of DEEP SPACE, where you will witness the movement of the universe.

One of the most amazing pieces of music I've ever heard. From Roach or anyone else. Truly one of Steve Roach's Best albums. A beautiful and inspired Sonic MASTERPIECE that belongs in your collection, right next to your copies of THE MAGNIFICENT VOID and MYSTIC CHORDS & SACRED SPACES.

Steve Roach ranks as among my favorite new age artists of all time and "Arc of Passion" is proof of how Roach still manages to innovate and generate some spectacular music. This newest album is an ambitious project featuring three super-epic pieces, the second piece is broken up into two tracks in which each half is on two discs. Overall, this album partially reminds me of the trippiness of Underworld's 1996 masterpiece "Second Toughest In The Infants" twelve years earlier. The overall album is really felt by listening from start to finish. Only then will you really appreciate the full beauty of this ambitious project.

Contrary to certain genres that this album is apparently linked to (Someone Called it "Electronica")I believe this Set, actaully breaks the boundaries that Steve Roach is Set within...! Its refreshing to see...

It is a Delightful Change From the Passive, Dark, Earthy, & Oppressing (But Enchanting) sounds of his Usual Style of music...!

Further to the generalizing of this work as electronica: I believe that Electronica, Is Regurgitated pop music, That didn't work in its original stance, and is therefore re-vamped, with a meager connection to Electronic music...! This 2 CD set is FAR APART From that

Irrespective of the 2 star review on this, This is the album that helped me get into Steve Roach!

I own several Steve Roach CD's. This one, unfortunately, follows a recent trend away from ambient space music and towards electronica. To me, electronica is just mainstreamed house music.

The problem is the beat, so much like the thumps and handclaps of 70's disco. Gentle electronic synthesizer loops have been replaced with more percussive taps and clicks.

Steve Roach is among the best ambient space music composers; this is one of his lesser works.
