Santa brought this to my 3 year old son who loves playing the big crane games in the stores. I was a little concerned since most of the crane games did not have very high reviews. I decided on this one, even thought it was a little more expensive, because it came with AC adaptor. Well worth it!! We would have already spent more in batteries than what difference would have been. My son mastered the controls within minutes of using it. He has so much fun and he loves the excitement of the music especially when it gets faster as the time runs out. Crane operates very well and does pick up alot of stuff. He had already got everything out in one day and it was half full. Does pick up better if not so full. I put all kinds of things in it from small stuffed animals, bouncy balls, hotwheels, candy, suckers, and other small types of candy and it worked great. It comes with tokens to dispense into the machine so you don't have to use real money, however I did discover you do not actually have to deposit the money just partically put the money into the slot and the machine will activate by tripping the sensor.

This is great - music can be turned off, easy to operate, the kids love it and have played with it repeatedly since August, which is saying something. Appeals to all ages, too. Buy some cheap trinkets at a discount store or use candy - the toys sold separately for this are sometimes too big to be picked up and are expensive.

My children are always playing the crane games at the store and Santa brought them one. Wow!! This has been real fun for everyone. So far no problems with the controls, getting prizes. I was a little worried about the other reviews that I had read but it has turned out to be awesome and worth it!

My husband bought this for the kids, much to my dismay. Boy was I surprised that this is their FAVORITE toy! My 2-1/2 and 6-1/2 year old kids play with this thing non-stop. I never ever would have imagined it would get so much use. They absolutely LOVE it.

I bought this as a Christmas gift and am rethinking my purchase decision. The claw has a very difficult time picking up any toys larger than two inches long. Further, it rarely picks up any candy. I'm not sure if I received the wrong machine or what, but this DID NOT come with an AC adapter. Be prepared with 3 D batteries for the first few hours of "fun". I wish there were a claw machine out there about twice this size with 8 times the grabbing capabilities. I'm hoping I can find some items that can actually be picked up. Arg!

My kids loved sticking the money in the toy, having the crane move around was very exciting! But The crane claw stopped moving. OK so I thought it could be a defect toy until I noticed my boyfriend (who bought on for his kids the same time day I did) DID THE SAME THING! Then I went to the thrift store and the funny thing is I saw one there too...It was broken too!!! It is a cheap machine and with all the accessories shopping etc. I spend over a good $60 for really nothing=(

This toy is for any person - young or old - whose eye's light up when they pass a crane game whether its in an arcade, a pizza shop, or a grocery store. I have purchased this for friends aged 25 and nieces aged 11. Truly a lot of fun. The carnival music accelerates as your allotted time per play winds down - indicating that you only have a few seconds left to drop the crane and effectively intensifying the moment. Great value in a world of $50+ video games. Fill it with individual pieces of candy or cheap trinkets from the dollar store - any of these are a treasure after a hard fought win in the crane!

This was the only toy my 2 kids wanted from Santa. They were not disappointed. It moves all around the box,that is amazing Kara...we have about 6 inches. You can choose your toys. {no china trinkets included} I highly recommend this toy, it is a crowd pleaser and a party activity. The only Con is the volume of the music...but you learn to block to out.

Load it up with Dollar Store toys, or TARGET toys, or TOYSRUS toys, or Wally World toys, or Goodwill toys, or any place you can find a bargain. LOAD IT! PLAY IT! Lots of fun for the children. They LOVE IT. I, myself like it as well. You can use the included plastic coins or you can use real money. Very versatile toy. Play coins or real coins. Expensive toys or cheap toys. Nice. Thank you for having an item like this to buy.

My two sons ( 6 and 8) loved this on Christmas morning. The only drawbacks are I wish it had an electrical cord instead of running on D batteries, and the music is very loud. There is no way to turn it down and you can't really watch TV or have a quiet conversation in the same room it's being played. The claw works fine, but only picks up things that are fairly light. Given all that, the boys still enjoy playing with it.
