Editorial Reviews

Arch Nemesis continues Benzino's feud with rapper Eminem. What looked like a possible truce at the top of the year when Eminem recorded "Toy Soldier" on his now multi-platinum Encore, turned into a false alarm when the video was released. In a scene which shows Eminem agonizing over the bloody body of D-12 member Proof, Benzino is assumed to be the shooter. Catching feelings, Zino shot back with "Look Into My Eyes," a jab at Eminem as well as his first single: "If Eminem want to squash beef, tell him call me/ I'll meet him anywhere, he can bring his army." Worth mentioning however, is that his reference to Em is only a small portion of the song. Not mentioned in any of his press is that the track is more about his life: "Pops went to prison/ I knew about the system/ Every Sunday morning me and moms paid a visit." Other standouts include the hood ode "What's Really Good" featuring Scarface and the Lil Jon produced "Dat's How It Goes." Surprisingly, this track finds a somewhat believable crunk Zino. Track listing: • Intro (1:09) • It's Nuthin' (3:45) • On My Mind (3:41) • Bottles & Up (Thug da Club) (4:06) • U Can't Handle It (3:42) • Numb (Skit) (0:38) • Look into My Eyes (Reponse to Eminem's "Toy Soldiers") (4:32) • News Flash (Skit) (0:27) • Arch Nemesis (Wish a N***a Would) (3:15) • What's Really Good (4:19) • Wide Body (3:43) • Dat's How It Goes (3:02) • 2Pac (Intro) (0:12) • Trying to Make It Through (3:45) • Ride (Skit) (2:13) • Front Back (Side to Side) (3:46) • Sorry (Skit) (1:09) • Not Me (3:58) • Noche de Estrellas (3:41) • Diamond Girl (3:26) • JB Floatin' (Skit) (0:27) • World Famous (4:00) • Killa (2:53) • Last Days Calling (*) (3:38)

5.0 out of 5 stars Rap Analyser you are ignorant, March 1, 2005
This review is from: Arch Nemesis (Audio CD)
First of all how can you not like Benzino because hes a fake Gangsta... and be a fan of 50cent.. your a moron second of all. Benzino is way realer than any of those Pop rappers in Shady/Aftermath.. All in all this cd deserves 4 stars it has some hot tracks, and a few you can Skip.. but I gave it 5 to balance it with this morons review. Unlike Shady/Aftermath... Benzino's track with Pac was actually recorded with his crew and Tupac Shakur in the studio.. He knew Pac in real life.. He didnt mix his voice to say Em whats up.. or Gunitt... Like the album "Loyal to The Game" was.. Changing the speed of Pacs voice to go with has garbage beats since he couldnt make the beats go with his..
