As a big David Wilcox fan, this CD sure pleased me. If you like that kind of warm and thoughtful music, be sure to pick this one up. I sure hope Chris releases a new one soon; 'Archaeology' is wearing out my CD player!

This is an excellent album of contemporary folk in the style of David Wilcox. Chris Rosser shows a number of musical influences which effortlessly intertwine in each piece. Highly recommended!

Chris Rosser is a fine guitar player and vocalist is the style of David Wilcox. In fact, you can hear David Wilcox singing background vocals. On the very first play, I fell in love with the relaxing style and intelligent and occasionally humorous lyrics. The first David Wilcox CD I purchased was based on a review that said "if you like James Taylor, you'll like..." Hopefully this five star review will encourage others to take a chance on a new name.

He is the best. I also caught him live. I was waiting for a train in williamsburg. He was playing on the same bill as another singer/songwriter Ron Fetner (worth checking into). I loved Rosser's work. Incredible songwriting and wonderful delivery. I was blown away.

I have all of Chris's albums, and they're all outstanding, but this one is the best. Chris's understated style, thoughtful, intelligent lyrics, and soulful voice make this one of the best folk albums I've ever heard. "The Laundromat" and "There's a Light" are my favorites on this one.
This album, like a lot of his work, has a distinct Eastern influence, which blends nicely with some of his more traditional folk songs. You won't be disappointed with this album, and definitely go see Chris live if you get a chance. His live performances are equally impressive and enjoyable.

I went to see another artist at a local cafe, and figured I'd just have to "tolerate" the opening act until the "real stuff" came on. Well, the opening act was Chris Rosser, and I was frankly sad to see him leave the stage. A consummate musician, he performed a number of songs from this album, and I bought "Archeology" right after the show. The title track and "The Laundromat Song" are my favorites -- the first is energetic and nostalgic, while the second is quiet and sweet. This guy is incredible. Check him out!
