I found this textbook well organized and informative. I am taking an "Overview of Archaeology" class, this is one of two required texts and I am quite happy with the with the text and the way the information is presented.

I am taking a class that requires this book, so far the reading includes the basics and skims thru the connections with anthropology and it's history. I am liking what I have read but of course the class just started too so we'll see how it goes.
