This review is from: An Archaeology of Manners: The Polite World of the Merchant Elite of Colonial Massachusetts (Contributions To Global Historical Archaeology) (Hardcover)
I read this book for school, and want to read it again and again for pleasure. The authors paint a wonderful portrait of life among the merchant elite, rich with historically accurate detail. The book almost reads more like a novel, but this does not take away from it's accuracy. If you are interested in colonial america or merchants, this is the book for you. Truly a great read.
