I saw Papa Doo Run Run at my High School in Southern California in the 70's. This album brought back a flood of memories. It's full of originals and covers of the tunes they did throughout their 35 year history. There are some rare gems, like "Lady Love", (I own the 45 rpm single), and some real interesting crap, "LSD", the band's first recording from 1966. The beauty of this CD is that you can really hear how the band developed and progressed musically throughout their 3+ decades together. It's a "MUST HAVE" for any serious surf music collectors.
