3.0 out of 5 stars Too Much of an Overview, September 2, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Archer's and Bowhunter's Bible (Doubleday Outdoor Bibles) (Paperback)
I purchased this book recently for my new hobby. I didn't realize how complicated it was to operate a bow. I have been practicing however and have improved.

As soon as i returned home with the book i read it front to back. i am interested in deer hunting this fall. while i found many interesting articles from well known hunters, the book is basicly an overview of many tactics for many different types of game. few descriptions are given for the "mechanics" of shooting the bow, which is what i was looking for. it also seems a little dated.
