For whatever reason, our local shops, including Gander Mountain, quit stocking bowstrings, at least in most lengths. A local archery specialty shop was going to charge me over $25 for a custom string, and I only need one for a kid's bow that didn't cost that much new, with a string! This is a high-quality bowstring, and should give good service for a very long time.
