A gullible tinnitus sufferer,
By
This review is from: Arches Tinnitus Formula (Health and Beauty)
I am a great believer in supplements. In fact I am convinced that supplements cured my osteoarthritis of the neck. So when I came across Arches Tinnitus Relief Formula, I was open to the possibility that it might help my tinnitus. The research looked good so I decided to try in. Just to be sure I really gave it a chance to work, I ordered four bottles and took it for a full three months. I followed the suggested dosage very carefully: two capsules in the morning and two at night every day for a full three months. After three months what happened was....nothing. My tinnitus was as bad as ever. This product, at least for me, was useless.

I have tried several internet remedies in the past who promised a cure only to be very disappointed when nothing happened. But I have been extremely happy with this product. It took some time to work (over three bottles) but my tinnitus has gone down by about two-thirds. Much, much better. I can get to sleep easier and don't feel so distracted in quiet surroundings. I spoke with Arches' customer service people and they explained that there is no "cure" for tinnitus (despite the claims of other products I tried) but for about 60% who try at least four bottles there is a reduction of noise. They directed me to some clinical studies (published on their website) on the ingredients they use which showed them to be effective (for many) versus a placebo. I found their honesty refreshing - not trying to push false hope or a "cure" that science shows just doesn't exist. I have to keep taking the product to maintain the reduction but I would have paid triple to get the relief I feel today.

It certainly does work, but not for everyone.,
This review is from: Arches Tinnitus Formula (Health and Beauty)
I've been taking Arches Tinnitus Relief Formula for a little over two weeks, and believe it is responsible for the significant reduction in my symptoms over that time. I would recommend it to anyone whose tinnitus was triggered by excessive sound levels.Tinnitus can have various causes. I have "sudden-onset" tinnitus from listening to music too loud with in-ear earphones a couple of months ago. Other people have Meniere's disease which is a very different issue and may not be improved by this Arches TRF. However, those folks might get similar relief from a lipoflavonoid product (several are on Amazon) which did nothing for me. And some people who have had tinnitus like mine for a much longer time may not be helped by Arches TRF either. Issues such as these may explain the negative comments here, which would be more useful if people would describe their situation along with their results. Another thing to beware of if you're new to tinnitus: there is no cure, and especially no 'miracle' cure despite tbe number of bottom-feeding webrats promoting such junk. You can only reduce the noise level, and only in some cases. As Arches states, TRF will help some people a lot while providing no benefit to others. I find it to be a quality product, formulated intelligently and sincerely offered for what it can do. The endorsement it carries from Dr. Michael Seidman - a real expert - does mean something. If your case is anything like mine, you should give this a serious trial because it could help you a lot. FOLLOW-UP: After 6 months using TRF my tinnitus symptoms are much better. But this formula is costly. For some weeks I have been using equivalent supplements from Puritan's Pride (combine items #4543 and #5493). In quantity, this alternative is about 1/5 the cost of TRF, and so far works just as well. Adding 500 mg magnesium also helped.
