About the Author
George Gladir is an American comic book writer, primarily known for his work with Archie Comics, he co-created Sabrina the Teenage Witch, with artist Dan DeCarlo. He became a full-time comic book writer in 1959, doing one-page gag fillers for Archie Comics Archie's Joke Book and other titles. His first confirmed credit is the gag page "Sign Language", drawn by Dan DeCarlo, in Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica #59

Fun, kid-safe, somewhat time-warped. This book is a quick trip to the Sixties, or at least the comics version of that decade.One writer compared Archie comics to an aquarium. Each fish in the aquarium is distinct & unique, & the fun is watching the combinations & permutations. Each Archie character is distinct, in their own private Riverdale Universe, & the fun is watching them interact. In this collection, the art reaches about the peak seen in Archie comics. The whole Riverdale Gang looks their very best. Betty and veronica look *extra best*! :D The artists at Archie took great pains to be up-to-date with this era's clothing, & it showed! And as always, Archie collections are wholesome, family friendly fare. This collection will go over well with most kids, & with most parents & grandparents. The Hipster gives it a Big Thumbs UP!
