We originally purchased the white colored version of this board only to find out that it stains REALLY easily from chopping a carrot. But this one on the other hand doesn't have this problem.

The grippers on the back hold it very well against the countertop and prevents the board from sliding around. The cutting surface has a nice texture which does help prevent slippage of certain items that can be a bit slippery (like a wet carrot).

My only complaint and the reason I'm rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the first red cutting board we received was warped and wouldn't sit flat on the countertop (and since it wouldn't sit flat the grippers on the back DIDN'T stop it from moving around), so it had to be returned. And this one, the replacement board, is also slightly warped and rocks back and forth as you cut. We're just going to deal with it and hopefully with use it will straighten out.

So other then the cutting boards being warped, this is an awesome cutting board and works great!

This item was warped when I received it. I even "straightened" it a couple of times with weights because I didn't want the expense of returning it. Didn't work. I use it, just annoyed that it's not what I expected.

I've got several of these boards in different colours. Orange and green are fabulous and have not warped in the dishwasher. The red one, however, had to be thrown out after only six weeks of use as it warped badly. Maybe it's a colour thing? I won't be buying another red one anyway.
