This review is from: Architects + Engineers = Structures (Paperback)
This is an Interesting and important book illustrating the necessity to have a cohesive building team of understanding professionals in order to design 'beautiful'architecture. The book brings forward the forgotten engineers who stood in the shadow of famous architects, such as Frank Kornacker, Joachim Cardozo, Jaroslav Polivka and others without whom the 'great, and heroic' architecture could not have been created. This is a book that Should be read by every engineer and architect who is truly interested in the building design and collaborative working environment. It brings to light that Architecture that is art and science is achieved by team work, and an understanding of two disciplines that are intricately sutured together |
