Will Jones' book is a great snapshot of the drawing practices of our times. There is something revealing of the unconscious in the act of sketching and drawing that gets to the preoccupation of the artist. This collection brings to our attention a great number of practitioners who might otherwise escape our notice.
p.s. don't let the cover put you off. How did that happen? The faux working drawing? I am surprised by Metropolis - that was really second rate and doesn't do the book and it's exuberant content any justice.
