I love how it looks, we got the bronze one with antique copper accents and it matches the house too. The detail and coloring are great; the quality is obvious. I was surprised by the weight, it's not a big deal; I just didn't realize it was going to be so heavy. You get what you pay for from them, a sturdy, attractive mailbox.

Was very pleased with how sturdy and well-made this mailbox and the post were. I would have preferred that the color more closely resemble the picture, but am still happy with the look. Compared to other boxes I looked at in person, this one far outdid the others in quality and style. Pricey, but worth the money so far.

This is a very attractive, yet sturdy mailbox. We also bought the locking insert for it as well. I was very suprised by the weight of the box, but it isn't a big deal. Color and design are beautiful. I would definately recommend this product to people.

Got this mailbox after our garbage service ran over our old one, which was well overdue for replacement.

It's a solid mailbox and very very nice looking. We also got the post that comes with the mailbox and the two items match perfectly together. My only comment is that the post is a bit tall, so you may need to dig a little more depending on how high you want your mailbox to be.

The comments regarding the latch are somewhat true. They almost discouraged us from buying the item, but as it turns out, you can adjust the internal catch so that it clips tighter.

Returned product. Latch is weak and poorly designed, would not hold the door closed. Architectural trim was not shaved and interfered with the door hinge. Amazon return policy is great.

This is a really nice looking, large mailbox. I would have given it a 5-star rating, but gave it four stars because the original delivered box had a problem with the closing mechanism, and got a replacement. I know, I know, it is made in China . . . and the quality control there is not that important apparently (judging by poor quality of most of the made-in-China products I come across every day).

As I stated in the review for the post that comes together (optional) with this mailbox, installing it was not as easy as I would have liked. It required that cement be used to set the post.

I had seen this product in different colors at my local hardware store so I had a pretty good idea what I was purchasing. The mailbox was easy to install, it is stylish and it is very sturdy. We have had compliments from our neighbors that it gives our house added curb-appeal. I appreciate the magnetic door - with the 500 year flood Nashville just experienced, our mail stayed dry inside the mailbox. I would recommend this product.

Quality mail box very well built, the only draw back is the door opening is not as large as the box so you cant get more mail in it.

The mailbox is beautful and very heavy. I thought it was a locking mailbox which is what I wanted, but this one is so nice I am looking for a locking insert.

i ordered this mailbox (black with copper) with the stand (Architectural Mailboxes Coronado In-ground Decorative Mailbox Post, Black) and love the overall look with my house. it is by far the best mailbox on the block and it is obvious from looking at it, it is of high quality. we purchased hardware numbers from restoration hardware in copper to match and it looks great. very happy with the quality and looks of this mailbox and would definitely recommend if you are going for this look.
