Although this mailbox looks great, it is not secure. After taking the mailbox out of the package, my mother wanted to see if it was possible for someone to stick their hand into the mail entry to touch the contents inside the box. To my amazement, she was not only able to get her hand inside but also her forearm to swipe and actually touch the bottom and every corner of the mailbox! My mother is 5 feet tall and had no trouble touching the mailbox when I held it up to the recommended height. I think that the bottom portion of the box is too shallow compared to the top entry portion. I have returned this item.

Geneva locking mailbox: Been installed for over a year, still looks great and works as advertised. Holds up to a week's worth of mail for us, keeps the rain out, and makes the Postal delivery person happy. Mounted easily too.

I've been the envy of the block for a month now with this mailbox. This thing is solid and weighs something like 26 lb by its self. The only downside was having to fabricate a mounting plate, this probably would have been easier if I wasnt drilling through 5/16" plate. This is one of the only mailboxes I could find that you can unload from the back, so it's been great getting the mail on my side of the fence. Someone had a question of security, but I definitly can't get my arm in there and neither could my wife.

Have used this mailbox for 2 weeks and I love it! It works exactly as described and it looks great. Also, both my husband and I tried to get our hands into the box to test its safety, and neither of us was able to reach inside. Easily holds up to a week of our mail with room to spare, and when it rained everything inside stayed completely dry. The price is right, too!
