excellent but superceded by later edition,

I found this book more useful than the ones by McGrath and Kopelow, because it emphasizes basic principles more heavily and is therefore easier to learn from than a book that emphasizes examples of its author's work. However, please note that this book has been superceded by a second edition, called Professional Architectural Photography. The latter is less expensive and has more material.
