This long-awaited manual on archival conservation was co-published with the New York Botanical Garden Library. It brings to the conservationist a wealth of information and methods to identify and preserve architectural drawings and documents. From Aniline prints through Sepia Diazo to hectographs, the authors use flow charts and more than fifty color illustrations to teach their identification process. Once a print has been identified, suggestions for preservation are made.
This work is a must for any librarian or conservator who is responsible for the care of antique blueprints, architectural reproductions, drawings, and documents.
