About the Author
M. Ruth Little has spent more than thirty years documenting North Carolina architectural history for the State Historic Preservation Office and as a private consultant. Her books include Sticks and Stones: Three Centuries of North Carolina Gravemarkers and Coastal Plain and Fancy: The Historic Architecture of Lenoir County and Kinston, North Carolina.
