You have to see this book to believe it! I stumbled across a copy in our local bookstore the other day and just couldn't believe the incredible photos and anatomical images in this work of art. Actual photos of men and women with their inner anatomy superimposed like a 3D x-ray over the photo. The poses are not your standard DaVinci's Man kind of pose either---we're talking yoga, dance, etc. If you're familiar with Alex Grey's artwork, this is just like that only with photographs. Highly recommended to medical professionals, curious laypersons, practitioners of yoga and fans of Alex Grey.

Have you ever wondered what the inside of your body Really looks like, but were never satisifed with the kinds of pictures you find in a text book? This book is what you've been looking for. Highly recommened to anyone with an interest in the human body. The book also contains a lot of information on how the body works and how its 'engineered' but all that takes a back seat to the amazing pictures.

I work in the health care field and the photographs in this book are the most detailed I have ever seen. They are amazing in their detail The comparisons to other living things in nature are fascinating. I heartily recommend this book to anyone interested in how the human body functions.

I work in the healthcare field, in a clinical laboratory, and a pathologist with an interest in photography borrowed this book and returned it later, stating how impressed he was with it. Seeing all the body systems laid out in full color and seeing how integrated they are is nothing short of remarkable.

I bought it as thank you gift for one of my favorite doctors due to the beauty and detail of the fine drawings and amazing photos. But I also think it should be a required text for high school students because it helps bring real clarity to the functioning of the human body. And the photos of nature and its correlation with the human body are profoundly beautiful and also inspiring.

The book is amazing. It is both beautiful and illuminating. I have never seen anything like it and I will never see the body in the same light after perusing this book.
