Editorial Reviews

The Revit Family Editor is extremely powerful but sometimes intimidating. This class will introduce you to the basics of the Revit 2010 Family Editor. In this five-part introduction to the Family Editor, renowned author and industry expert Paul F. Aubin will walk you through the creation of Revit component (loadable) Families complete with constraints and parameters. Don't worry if you don't know what a constraint or parameter is; we'll cover that too. So whether you've never worked in Revit Architecture before, or have used Revit for awhile but simply avoided the Family Editor, this series will help get you acclimated to this critical and powerful aspect of using the Revit software. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful By F. Balnius on March 3, 2010
I found Paul F. Aubin's video series on the Autodesk Revit Architecture Family Editor to be invaluable to myself and our company's Revit users. Even after a full in-house training session with Paul, we have found his video series a terrific tool for helping our employees. The beginning Revit users find the series very useful for becoming more comfortable with the basic functions of the Family Editor, while our more seasoned users find that the sessions are a great refresher for some of the more advanced features. I would highly recommend Paul F. Aubin's Mastering the Family Editor Series to anyone looking to gain an edge for using Autodesk Revit Architecture.
