This review is from: Architecture Without Shadow (Hardcover)
Vague statements in the product description like "the photography of architecture as an art practice" seemed to say there might be something interesting to look at in this book. But I was disappointed. Two of the photographers take all their shots out of focus. Another uses his work to "question photography." What redeemed this book from one to three stars was the work of Gursky and Candida Hofer. I plan to get more of their work. Otherwise it is a bunch of essays on why what looks like junk is really art. If you would like the answer to this question this might be a good book.
