This review is from: Archives of the Holocaust: An International Collection of Selected Documents, Part 1 (Hardcover)
This book is part of one of the two series of outstanding collection of documents about the Holocaust which was produced essentially for public libraries by Garland Publishing under the direction of Francis R. Nicosia (the other collection is edited as The Holocaust -document series- and includes 18 volumes under the direction of John Mendelsohn).
It covers Archive selections done into different State Archives mainly by Universities.
Don't look in there for analysis: these are only reflected by the selection of the unearthed documents, lots of them being in German (most of them with their translation in English). The books are unfortunately extremely difficult to find and, as a result, extremely expensive. They are however worth every dollar.
The collection includes:

It is shocking that these exceptional research results are not reproduced in a less luxurious form (which aimed at showing respect) but at an accessible price or placed on a website for easy consulting.
These works represent countless months of reasearch in entire buildings full of documents, some of which being small dupplicates of letters or orders which only take significance when replaced in their context. Books are done, IMHO, to share knowledge and it is even more true when their content is exceptional.
