This review is from: The Archon Conspiracy (Paperback)
Whether you are a "Evangelical Christian", or someone who is into intense fiction, this book is for you. With plot twists at every turn, fast paced action, and deep intriquing characters, Dave Hunt captures your attention right from the "get go". The books setting is the events leading up to the coming of the antichrist, and a "possible scenerio" for the deception of all ages. For those of you who loved "This Present Darkness", or for those of you who are watching for the antichrists arrival, this book will seem like an old familier friend from the second you open it, till the time you finally put it down "in my case just a few days later after a marathon reading session."

Enjoy this one, but remember...it's only fiction...at least to a degree.

In a race against time, CIA agents and Soviet leaders scramble for the ultimate weappon...psychic power. Locked into the international intrigue is computer genius Ken Inman whose goal to contact mysterious entities turns into a nightmare when Archons attempt to take over his mind. Famed journalist Carla Bertelli becomes a key player in a psychic war that could destroy the world as she goes behind the scenes to discover the truth. Torn between her love for Ken and her contempt for Christianity, one question continues to plague her: Are the archons the benovolent higher beings they claim to be, or are they demonic forces?

5.0 out of 5 stars The best novel I have ever read, February 12, 2007
This review is from: The Archon Conspiracy (Paperback)
This was the first Dave Hunt book that I ever read, and it was part of what first got me interested in his writings. I don't read many novels, but this one is the best novel that I have ever read, so I highly recommend it. Although it is a fictional story, it does an excellent job of presenting the truth.

I have heard that the FBI questioned Dave Hunt about this book, and they asked him were he got his information from. His response was that he got it from the Bible. There is also a sequel to this book called Sanctuary Of The Chosen, and I recommend that one as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Scaringly realistic, but to the point, August 26, 1998

This review is from: The Archon Conspiracy (Paperback)
I read this book back in 1990, and I think the publisher should print it again. Maybe 1990 was a few years to early for people to accept what the book is about? I don't know, but the book is still a great book. Recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Book, July 14, 2002

I found my copy of this book at a thrift store. Because it was at the thrift shop I wasn't too sure about it at first. But I've fallen in love with it and share it with all my friends. When finished with the book I just sat down and thought for a long time. The book opened my eyes to the true power the devil holds over this earth and un-believers. It gives a new light on how the anti-christ could take over the world.

1.0 out of 5 stars Really? A Demonic Psycho-conspiracy and the Anti-Christ? Really?, July 12, 2009
By
D. P. D. (Omaha, Nebraska) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Archon Conspiracy (Paperback)
With all the mundane, non-supernatural things that are already horrible and wrong in the world, it is an absolute wonder to me that anyone of any religion would look to the advent of "The Antichrist" as a sign that things are screwed up. Supernatural conspiracies are completely unnecessary and irrelevant! Instead of sitting around wondering when God's going to finally get around to destroying the human race and the planet, why not show some actual practical spiritual insight and do what you can to make the world a better place now? Religion is not an evil in and of itself; but people who misuse it as a justification for semi-gleefully waiting for the world to end in fire certainly are.

2.0 out of 5 stars One of the most horribly written books I've ever read, but.., January 6, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Archon Conspiracy (Paperback)
strangely compelling... it felt like it was written by an 8th grader - just the first page of the book is enough to get you rolling on the floor with laughter. But his pacing is done well and keeps you reading. However the pace falls apart at the end of the book and you come to realize just how boring it all is... Kind of like finally waking up to what the Archon's really are!

If you're a weird christian nut you'll probably love this book. It'll help if you haven't been exposed to much in the world. If you're a 'carla' before her conversion you'll also love this book - for the sheer hilarity.

Strangely enough, I found this book in a thrift shop in Barcelona...
