I received the drive and immediately hooked it up. My first impression was very positive. The device is even smaller than I had perceived it to be when I ordered it. As soon as it was hooked up to a computer it was recognized and had a drive letter assigned in seconds. I was copying files to it instantly.
It does get a little hot after it's plugged in for a bit. The only other thing I worry about with this thing is durability. Although it indeed has a sturdy enclosure and construction, these mini hard drives are infamous for breaking. I treat mine like it's made of glass just to be sure.

I love this thing for the price. 4G of storage lets me easily transport file, music and video between home and work, and between my family's and friend's computers. However, I couldn't get the USB connector open for the first 30 minutes after I opened the box. This is very cheap construction. I had to hold the opposite corner with my thumb in order to open up enough space on the plug end for it to want to pop out of the case. Anyway, after I figured that out, it worked fine. Gets a bit warm when plugged in for a while.
