A great product if you enjoy ScanDisk,

This review is from: Archos PC MiniDVD 2X (Personal Computers)
This is yet another piece of hardware that might be ok if it wasn't for pathetic driver software. On an IBM Thinkpad 570, I can use the drive for maybe 5 minutes, then Windows spontaneously reboots and I see the famous ScanDisk screen, checking my C drive, and admonishing me to shut down Windows before turning off the computer. If you enjoy ScanDisk, you'll love this drive. On a Sony Picturebook, the installation of the DVD viewer trashed the sound drivers (probably by installing some older version of Windows media support), and I had to reinstall Windows. Unfortunately, the Windows operating system architecture and a sloppily written driver program conspire to make this otherwise promising gadget worthless on a Windows 9x based system. Maybe it'll work better on the Mac or Windows 2000.
