Turn your Archos Internet Media Tablet (IMT) into a portable digital audio and video recorder. Record directly onto your Archos from most analog video and/or audio sources. Compatible with the Archos 5, Archos 5g, and Archos 7 IMTs, this adapter also will charge your product more rapidly, using an optional charger/adapter.

Video Recording
Record videos from composite video sources directly onto your Archos IMT in MPEG-4 AVI format with stereo sound in VGA resolution (640 x 480). With the included Audio/Video cable, the DVR Snap-on allows you to record directly onto your Archos from most any analog video source--VCR, DVD player, camcorder, etc. Take your favorite media with you!
Audio Recording
Use your DVR Snap-on to record audio analog sources to your Archos through the stereo audio line-in. The audio is recorded in WAV (IMA ADPCM or PCM) format with up to a 48 kHz sample rate.
Adapter/Charger
With the optional power supply, you can charge your Archos 5 or Archos 5g more quickly than standard USB charging.

I used this thing a few times and I'm very pleased. Records like a charm. One suggestion, pay attention to the volume when you record, but that comes with experience.
