Not a good case. if you want a quality stylish case for your Archos5....don't buy this one. The leather is very hard as if it's fake leather and it's bulky. If you want a quality, great looking stylish case for your Archos 5 that won't make your player look bulky...get the Javoedge. It's a little more expensive, but it's worth it!

Alright, this thing is all you need if your looking for basic protection. It's a cushioned leather case, ready to protect my Archos from the dangers of the world. Although its quite basic, it's all I needed, and for the price, it is fantastic for my Archos's lifetime to be spent protected. Yes, you have easy access to the on/off button, and volume buttons, as well as the headphone jack. The only thing I found TOTALLY incorrect about the description, is it said you have access to the video connections with this thing on. I'm not too sure if when it says "access to video connections" if it means the connection on the bottom of the Archos that the DVR uses, or the screen, but I interpreted it that it was the connections on the bottom. Expect the bottom of your Archos to be covered with leather. The good is that this prevents dust damage to the connections. The bad is if you have a DVR or want to charge it, then you'll have to remove it. But, I'm fine with that because it is INCREDIBLY easy to remove.
So, besides that complaint, if you can live with that too, as well as need basic protection (when I say basic, the protection is quite incredible, its almost like they put cotton between the two leather peices, it's just that it doesn't have access to the video connections or have some fancy emblem on it or anything), then you should buy this product!
