5.0 out of 5 stars Fully Compatable with Jukebox Recorders after update
After you update your Jukebox recorder's firmware everything in this (including the remote control) is compatable.

The remote is pretty good. I like Lyra 2's remote better for on person use. This one works better stuck on the dash of a car or truck. It should come with an adhesive pad to stick it to your car but it doesn't.

The charger plug thing isn't anything...

I have owned this kit for about 3 months. You get a cheap cassette adapter to connect your jukebox to a car with a cassette player. This is not different from any cheap car adapter you get at your local pharmacy.

The charger plug thing isn't anything special. And the casette adapter is one made for a portable cd player. It even has the "compact disk" logo on it. Not like that matters but if it were my product I'd put my logo all over it. The "y" cable is decent but about 3 feet too short to be usefull. This kit also comes with the same folding "behind-the-neck" headphones. They are very light and comfortable but they are kind of quite and lack the bass of Sony's "behind-the-neck" headphones.

If you've got an Archos Jukebox Recorder you'll need this for your car. The remote is great. Everything else is standard. And I'm pretty sure using any kit besides the Archos one will void the warranty on your player.

I have owned this kit for about 3 months. You get a cheap cassette adapter to connect your jukebox to a car with a cassette player. This is not different from any cheap car adapter you get at your local pharmacy. You also get a power adapter for the car - this is also a general voltage adapter which plugs into the cigarette lighter adapter. You get another cheap pair of headphones similar to the ones that shipped with your Jukebox. About the only useful thing is the remote control which is of moderate use if you place your jukebox in a place that is inconvenient to reach directly when driving. It seems like a useful collection but in the end I only find myself using the power and cassette adapter. Then again, its not that expensive. Just do not expect too much or good quality - this is cheap aftermarket stuff.

The vendor took my money and failed to ship the product. The dealer didn't notify me that the product was unavailable, and no refund was sent or offered until I specifically wrote and asked what happened.

Unless you really need the remote don't buy this junk. Even the remote is pretty useless. It has a two foot cord on it which begs me to ask the question "Couldn't you just as easily use the buttons on the player?" It also doesn't have a clip on it so if you're thinking of attaching it to something you best be prepared to slap some velcro on it. The cassette adapter is useless. I don't even know anyone with a cassette deck in their car anymore. The headphones are crap unless you like listening to just treble. No bass response at all. Turn the bass up on the player and you're listening to sweet overpowering distortion. The stereo cable can easily be found somewhere else. The car power adapter is a cheap, underpowered universal type. You'd be better off buying a 9v radio shack adapter with more mah.
