Here is the response I got today when I emailed them weeks ago about the insole that fell apart when I washed the shoes, which the retailer said I could do. ( in Ojai CA.)

If rest of shoe was pretty nice, just a badly made insole, stitching came apart.

This is an absolutely great shoe. I bought it in all three colors and absolutely love them all. They couldn't be any more comfortable than they are, and since

I have bunions, I look for a wide shoe that will not put pressure on my foot.
