the reading comprehension section is OK, but the logic games section is no help at all. the book includes all these old styles of puzzles that the LSAT no longer uses, which is a waste of time, and only gives minimal advice on how to tackle the problems (write down all the information, make a chart-- um, duh). the sample tests at the end of the book even use the same problems as the example problems you studied with, so it's hard to know if you're improving because you actually learned something or you just remember that particular problem from the chapter. irritating.

This edition will help you only if you have at least 2-3 months to prepare for LSAT. The explanations are helpful in reading section. The logical/analytical reasoning section offers great tips on how to solve the problems in minimal amount of time. Using those little tables/charts will help you sort out the wrong answers and point out the right one. This is the only way you can get the questions right, because you don't have much time to sit there and think about it thoroughly.
