I have had this jacket for about a year now, and it has performed admirably! In full on downpours, it's DWR coating performs magnificently, and when the sun comes out and the temperature rises, it's breathability is absolutely phenomenal. I have used it for skiing, hiking, and just around the town and it functions perfectly for all three. The hood is large and can accommodate a helmet, but definitely needs cinching down without one. It is, however, quite a slim fitting jacket. Pockets abound, with two chest and two side, and work perfectly for stashing everything and avoiding use of a daypack. I highly recommend it!!!
