I bought this jacket because I had been looking for a fleece lined softshell jacket that was flexible. So many softshell jackets of this type are stiff and uncomfortable but not my Arc'teryx Gamma MX! I found the fit through the chest and torso to be on the slim side but at the same time there is more than ample room in the shoulders to allow for movement. Note also that this is a lightweight jacket that would be suitable for temps in the 50s but probably not much lower than that (unless you're wearing this jacket while running). Be aware that this is not a winter jacket.
