2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed with Miura 50, October 26, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this backpack about 10 months ago.
I usually use this backpack during my rockclimbing trips, at least once a week.
So, I beleive I'm able to write some coments about it.

Pros:
- Amazing design
- Ease to open and access any item inside it.
- Abrasion resistent
- Big pockets (front and upper)
- The two internal gear racking loops are very usefull
- The top grab handle is very usefull in some situations that you have to hold the backpack from the top

Cons:
- It's not confortable, seems that there is not enough foam in the waist belt or in the back. But if you wear a lot of clothes, it may help you to feel better.
- It's not ventilated in the back. But, if you not get sweat during a few minutes of intense hiking, you are not going to have any problem with it! :-)
- There is no multiple adjustments for the back (You must buy the size that fits perfectly on you)
- The two compressors that comes in the front pocket are very easy to come off. If you have to dispatch this backpack in an airplane, be prepared to lose them. But if you always wrap up your backpack with plastic paper (that usually costs about $10 at the airport), you don't have to worry with that.
- Anyone can easily open this backpack. But if you not travel too much and always keep your backpack on you, don't worry with this! :-)
- It's not possible to lock the backpack (even with simple plastic chain devices, because the front pocket has only one zipper, and to open the main compartment, you just have to loose the compressors). But if you don't have to worry with your gear to be stolen, it's fine! :-)
- It's not possible to overload the backpack, becouse its upper (top) system don't allow you to do that. You'll only realize it, when you put a lot of things inside the backpack. Then, you'll have to take out everything again. But, if you are not in a hurry, and have another backpack, you'll don't have to worry with that. :-)
- Very expensive. But if you have money to spent... :-)

So, if you need a backpack, that are not going to leave you alone, don't buy this backpack.
When I buy an expensive product, I expect that this product to be really good, but It's not this case.
