Nothing else worked for my EVGA 8800GTX...the thing ran too hot even at stock, and overclocking was just a silly dream.
Enter the Accelero Xtreme 8800. Idle temps hover around 40C, and load temps hardly cross 65C in the worst case scenario. And the installation process couldn't get any easier than this...simply perfect. 10/10 from me.

One word. Awesome. Will reduce idle temp from 80 to 37 degrees. At full speed, quieter than lowest speed in stock cooler. Why can't ATI and NVidia just subcontract these coolers in the first place as an OEM part.
