This review is from: Arctic Cooling MX-3 Super High Performance Non-Conductive Thermal Compound (4g) (Accessory)
I put this MX-3 paste on my GX640's GPU, CPU, and GDDR5 RAM(replaced thermal pads). My temps dropped 12c! :)
I knew it would be good, but not that good! A+++

I'm using an AMD HDZ940XCGIBOX Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition 3.0GHz Cache 8MB AM2+ 125W Processor - Retail. At the time of application, it was overclocked from 3.0ghz at 1.25 volts to 3.5ghz at 1.45 volts.
Using Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound, 3.5 Grams, running the AMD Overdrive stability test would reach temps of about 58c. After applying MX-3 and starting the system up, the same tests for the same length of time yielded temps of 54c. That's a reduction of FOUR DEGREES... over ARCTIC SILVER 5! I have since overclocked it further to 3.6ghz at 1.5 volts. Temps reach about what they used to, using the lower clocks and voltage. That's pretty damned impressive, imo. This is fully worth the money. Buy it, right now.

Difficult to work with,

The compound is difficult to spread (I used a thin ID card, a scraper etc...), it sticks to the spreading tool making it difficult to cover an entire area (and I tried over a half dozen times). I was still able to bring down my GPU temps by applying this compound so it is good but just difficult to work with.
