5.0 out of 5 stars Works better than I thought it would!
I put this MX-3 paste on my GX640's GPU, CPU, and GDDR5 RAM(replaced thermal pads). My temps dropped 12c! :)
I knew it would be good, but not that good! A+++

versus
3.0 out of 5 stars Difficult to work with
The compound is difficult to spread (I used a thin ID card, a scraper etc...), it sticks to the spreading tool making it difficult to cover an entire area (and I tried over a half dozen times). I was still able to bring down my GPU temps by applying this compound so it is good but just difficult to work with.

I'm using an AMD HDZ940XCGIBOX Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition 3.0GHz Cache 8MB AM2+ 125W Processor - Retail. At the time of application, it was overclocked from 3.0ghz at 1.25 volts to 3.5ghz at 1.45 volts.

Using Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound, 3.5 Grams, running the AMD Overdrive stability test would reach temps of about 58c.

After applying MX-3 and starting the system up, the same tests for the same length of time yielded temps of 54c. That's a reduction of FOUR DEGREES... over ARCTIC SILVER 5! I have since overclocked it further to 3.6ghz at 1.5 volts. Temps reach about what they used to, using the lower clocks and voltage.

That's pretty damned impressive, imo. This is fully worth the money. Buy it, right now.

In order to really rate this product plus or minus , I guess I would have to take the computer apart, and reassemble it with another paste. I bought it and it was easy to apply. Computer works ok. Cpu temps are within specs. Take a person with alot more builds that has used other pastes to accurately rate this one.

This is the best thermal compound money can buy. It saved my PlayStation from a premature death. Also the non-conductive feature is nice for people like me who have less than steady hands.

I used this to replace the paste that came with my cooler. Intel i7-930 average temperature when playing 'Moonbase Alpha' is 2F cooler. I haven't started overclocking this setup (2.8GHz stock) but nice to know I have a bit more headroom when I do!

Not much you can say about thermal paste to be honest.

It works great and is very easy to use. Also, it's non-conductive so you don't have to worry about shorts and also has no cure time.

The only down side i can think of is the price. The price for OCZ freeze is far less and is about the same if not better.

Other than that, this was a great purchase.
