Caribou herding in the Far North,
This review is from: Arctic Exodus: The Last Great Trail Drive (Paperback)
As a wildlife biologist who has worked with woodland caribou in extreme northeast Washington and who has lived in Alaska, I found this book fascinating. It's one of those great unheard of stories that needs a wider audience, especially for lovers of the far north and caribou. The author writes clearly and concisely. Thankfully he was willing to take the time and effort to write this story. For those of you who love adventure stories, wildlife tales, and admire the arctic, this is a must read, not just for enjoyment but for your education. Hmm... has the Discovery Channel or Animal Planet documented this story?
