Book Description

Lea is the middle child in a traditional Hawaiian family. She is a young and innocent, black haired Hawaiian beauty who helps in her dad's business. Jacob is the typical blond haired, blue-eyed California beach bum who works in a Hawaiian dive shop. As they find each other’s love they are destined for happiness. Their lives are moving along in simple bliss until Jacob one day comes up with an idea that will change their lives and their friend's lives forever. Follow Lea and her friends as they pursue their adventure on the high seas. On their journey, which will take you from the frozen tundra of the Arctic Circle to the luscious islands of the South Seas, they will cross paths with an unscrupulous diamond industry. Drift away with Lea when she joins the crew of a love-boat to help Jacob and his gang execute an elaborate plan of high-stakes, high-seas robbery. As Lea, Jacob, and friends pursue their plan and chase their dream across the Pacific Ocean, will their love for each other and their friendship be strong enough and survive the perils of their quest?

Entertaining, if not a bit "campy" at times. Would especially appeal to those who are familiar with or interested in island lifestyle.

More About the Author

RICHARD JOSEPH ZAZZI was raised at a winery in northern California owned by his traditional Italian family and was a therapist for nearly twenty years. Now retired, he and his wife have three grown sons and live in a remote part of Hawaii. They share their home with Bobo,German Shepherd/Border Collie mix, and Tiggy, an alley cat.

Richard started writing several years ago and has published four fiction novels. Currently, he is working on a sequel to the Arctic Rose, a light-hearted mystery with characters from Hawaii. Richard likes to incorporate elements of history or political/societal conflict into his work.

Richard is an avid reader himself. He enjoys fiction and non-fiction alike. When he is not reading or writing, he loves to pass time playing his guitar or listening to music. His favorite musical performers, among many others, are Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, and many of the old Blues artists.

Finally, his most treasured activity is to spend time with his wife, and whenever possible, the rest of his busy family.
