5.0 out of 5 stars YUMMY!!
YUMMY!!! Arctic Zero is delicious & has great nutritional stats. Even though I never thought I'd eat the entire pint in 1 sitting, I did, but at least I didn't feel tooooo guilty. I've tried the Choc & Choc PB. Now I'm going to order the Vanilla. Still on the fence about the Strawberry Banana. Only negative is the price, but if you consider the 6 containers you get...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected
3 out of the 6 were in the melted stage, the Chocolate Peanut Butter had a good flavor, I did not like the plain Chocolate. I will not order this again...

5.0 out of 5 stars YUMMY!!, July 24, 2009

Only negative is the price, but if you consider the 6 containers you get for $46, that's a little less than $8/container or pint. Even if you eat 1/2 pint at a time, that's only $4. You spend more than that buying an ice cream at your local ice cream shop, plus you're saving a ton of calories. You can add on fresh fruit, whipped cream, etc. & make your own sundae's for a fraction of the calories. GREAT STUFF!!! Love it!! Also, the containers were still frozen solid when they arrived!

For a product with calories so low, one would expect an icy, grainy dessert. It's not! Just the opposite, in fact. It's smooth and creamy and all the flavors taste great.

We do all kinds of things to our Arctic Zero to make treats that rival any other ice cream:

Extra Peanut Buttery Chocolate:
Mix 4 Tablespoons PB2 with a little Splenda and enough hot water to make a saucy consistancy. Pour over chocolate or chocolate peanut butter Arctic Zero. Heaven.

Pistachio:
Crush 1/4 cup shelled pistachios into pieces. Mix-in this, along with a few drops of almond extract to the vanilla Arctic Zero. So Yum.

Tropical Strawberry:
Heat some crushed pineapple with a little Splenda and pour over strawberry Arctic Zero.

Tropical II:
Heat 1/4 cup apple juice, 1 Tablespoon Splenda and 1/2 Teaspoon cornstarch. Add sliced banana disks and warm until sauce is thickened. Pour over strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, or chocolate peanut butter Arctic Zero.

Crispy Chocolate Mint:
Slightly crush 1 packet of Quaker 100 calorie pack Chocolatey Mint Mini Delights, and mix-in to vanilla or chocolate Alpine Zero.

Cherry Jubilee:
Chop up 1/4 cup maraschino cherries and warm with some of it's own juice. Pour over or mix-in vanilla or strawberry Arctic Zero.

These are just a few of our favorites, and you can come up with tons more. But, eating Arctic Zero plain as is, is just great too!

5.0 out of 5 stars All I can say is YAY!!!!!!!, August 7, 2009

OK. I don't write many reviews but just had to on this one. I ordered the Choc and Choc PB because I just HAD to try it. I LOVE ice cream but I'm also trying to lose weight and a serving of regular ice cream just doesn't get it. I will admit, the first time I tried it, I wasn't thrilled. It was icy and the flavor didn't do much for me. Then I read a review that said you should let it sit at room temp for a while so that it softens some. OMG!!! What a difference!!! Creamy, creamy, creamy. All of the icyness goes away and it's so smooth and creamy I was amazed. I've gone through 3 of the pints now and I like it more each time I eat it. Maybe it's an acquired taste or maybe it's that going in I KNEW it wasn't going to taste like real ice cream (really, how could it?) but I was looking more for the texture and coldness of ice cream, not necessarily the flavor. One thing I do if I want it a little sweeter is I sprinkle a couple of teaspoons of PB2 (powdered peanut butter - GREAT STUFF!!!! and it's sold on Amazon) on the top and mix it in. It sweetens it just enough and it only adds about 20 calories and lots of PB flavor so it's worth it. I could also never eat a whole pint of this at one time. After eating about a 1/3 of the pint I feel stuffed. I'll definitely be buying this again!!!

I ordered the 6 pack even though the price was high just to try it. It arrived last night and all the ice cream was still frozen if sitting on my porch all day...great packaging. Anyway, I tried the chocolate peanut butter. Of course, it's not as good as say a pint of Ben&Jerry's...but it was pretty good. Good chocolate flavor, and enough like ice cream that your cravings are satisfied without all the fat and calories. As a runner, I think I've found the perfect recovery snack after a long, hot summer run! Lots of protein and some carbs as well. I just wish it was more affordable.

The chocolate peanut butter is decadent and really good and for 128 calories for the whole thing; crazy is all I can say. I can't get enough of this stuff. I love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny, August 17, 2009
This review is from: Arctic Zero Mix and Match 150 Calories Per Pint Combo Pack. Chocolate Peanut Butter and Chocolate Frozen Desserts (3 of Each Flavor) Pack of 6 (Grocery)
I had major issues with Amazon.com in regards to my order, they never processed it for shipping and waited over a month before they auto canceled. Their customer service was terrible and they basically ignored me. Fortunately, Artic Zero helped me out and I recieved my order. I highly reccomend the choc and choc pb, to me it tastes no different than regular chocolate and chocolate pb icecream and has the same texture. Tried the vanilla too. It has a funny aftertaste by itself but made a great fruit smoothie base. Definitely buy the chocolate variety tho you will be pleasantly suprised. Worth the money.

Frozen Deliciousness for 128 Calories?!?! Yes! I love Arctic Zero. Period. Bought the Chocolate and Chocolate Peanut Butter Combination Pack and I can't stop eating it. Although it is pricey, it's worth every penny for someone who is looking for a sweet treat and little indulgence without the calories. This is the treat I've been searching for the last 2 years while actively dieting and it is now a tool that will help me maintain. The fact that it's loaded with protein just makes it even better! I will warn, this is not true ice cream. It is definitely more of a frozen novelty but is simply fantastic. I thoroughly enjoy every second of my guilt free indulgence!

The shipping is super fast and the items arrived in New York from California completely rock solid frozen! Simply Amazing!

4.0 out of 5 stars A 128 calorie pint of fudgesicles, February 12, 2010

This review is from: Arctic Zero Mix and Match 150 Calories Per Pint Combo Pack. Chocolate Peanut Butter and Chocolate Frozen Desserts (3 of Each Flavor) Pack of 6 (Grocery)
After reading the reiews I was hesitant about buying this because people were comparing it to a frozen protein shake and not real ice cream. I've never had a protein shake so I didn't know what to expect. Also it seemed like the makers of Artic Zero were reviewing it because the reviews were a bit TOO nice to be true. I took my first bite of the chocolate and immediately likened it to the taste and consistency of FUDGESICLES! The peanut butter is more of a peanut taste to me but still good. Frankly if it was 1000 calories like it's Ben & Jerry's chocolate counterpart I would not be satisfied with it. But since it's 128 calories a pint this frozen treat is more than satisfactory to me! I'll buy it again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but disappears in your mouth, November 20, 2009

My order arrived 2 days after it was placed, packed really well in styrofoam and dry ice. The stuff is pretty good...but it literally disappears in my mouth. Try it...take a big bite and let the bite completely melt in your mouth, don't swallow. Once it melts, there's nothing left. It's weird. But, there is a certain satisfaction at being able to sit down with a whole guiltless pint.

pretty tasty especially given it has virtually no calories but it has a thin texture, like ice milk rather than cream.
