I use Reel Butter Oil along with Reel Butter Grease and Reel Butter Bearing Lube. This product does an excellent job protecting my reel's interior mechanical parts. As I am out on or in the ocean fishing two to three times a week I need a product that isn't going to break down under hard use in sometimes harsh conditions. When I get home I clean my reels. The three Ardent products mentioned above are used. Even after a day's fishing I can see that the Ardent products have done their jobs. Being somewhat of a nut on having my reels operating at their best, I'm satisfied by what I see when I open up a reel. The lubricants have kept the reels working perfectly. Still, I re-lubricate with the Ardent products for the next fishing activity that I hope comes soon. There may be other lubricants that meet the needs of others. How can I go wrong with something that is so consistent in fulfilling my needs? Highly recommended.
