I received the package fully ready to clean my reels that got dropped in the sand.

The problem with this product is that it does not include all the lubricants that a reel will require. I bought the kit with the understanding that it included everything I would need, but being one item short what is the point of having a kit at all?

The product that is missing is the ball bearing lube. It contains only reel grease and lube for all other parts.

I am dissapointed most by the fact that I will have to buy yet another product, wait for its delivery, and miss a weekend of surf fishing.

If you order this also order ball bearing lube.

The instructions included with the kit have a few pictures for each type of reel that may need to be dissassembled (spiinning or casting) and lubed. There are 14 pictures per reel for cleaning and lubing instructions.

The casting reel in the pictures is a bait casting reel and the pictures do not include the older casting reels which may have a small lever that releases the spool. The pictures include the use of the missing BEARING LUBE!

The instructions are not a booklet but rather a pamphlet that folds out with pictures and a few words, and it fits inside the plastic box for storage. However, when purchased the bottle of ball bearing lube will probably not fit inside the plastic box.

The dimensions of the case are 6" x 4.75" x 1.75"

Kit is compact, easy to use and works well at maintaining fishing reels. Purchase was smooth through Amazon and at a great value.

The tool is a reversable phillips/flat driver. There is a manual included for spinning and bait casting reels; what needs to be oil or greased; how to disassemble, excellant instructions and information. If your reel has bearings I recommend you also buy the Reel Butter Bearing Lube; I also bought a 30 count pack of Ardent swabs, one extra bottle of cleaner and grease because I have 2 reels. AND this is Made in the U.S.A.
