Book Description

October 5, 2006
The struggle of an indigenous people to retain their land and traditions in the face of colonialists bent on extinguishing their culture provide the background for The Arduous Path - Namanga'na the Founder and its sequel The Encounters of a Native.

Insightful and thought-provoking, The Arduous Path - Namanga'na the Founder and The Encounters of a Native disclose customs and rituals, and debate the meaning of the terms "primitive and civilized", while offering a glimpse into the rich traditions of African culture and people.
