5.0 out of 5 stars Over 1 million downloads, June 7, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: We Are the Forthcoming Past, Take Care of It (Audio CD)
I saw one of the tracks SONS OF THE COLD at MP3 in their New Age Charts on #1 for a long time! And I was told that it had over 1 million downloads. That song was GREAT!!! But when I got the album I was overwhelmed. What an exceptional beautiful album - every single track is great! I am glad it is finally available in the USA in CD format (not just for download) and that Grundman donates his profits to Doctors Without Borders is a wonderful contribution to make this world a better place!
A Grundman Fan from California!

5.0 out of 5 stars Relaxing yet Complex, and a Good Cause!, June 4, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: We Are the Forthcoming Past, Take Care of It (Audio CD)
Grundman's CD is not a typical New Age relaxation album; the music is beautiful, but won't put you to sleep. It crosses over into electronica and neo-classical, and each song seems to tell a story. Profits going to Doctors Without Borders in Spain make me even happier about the CD...you must listen to Sons of the Cold!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Emotive Music for a good cause, May 28, 2005
This review is from: We Are the Forthcoming Past, Take Care of It (Audio CD)
Grundman's music is very emotional and creates a wonderful space which allows you to feel sadness and joy. Every piece has an emotional scenario which inspired Grundman to write his music. The listener is able to share those emotions Grundman evokes but can also interact on his own. This album is emotionally healing but creates also awareness for situations on our planet that require our involvement on a practical and/or spiritual level. Recommended for people who care...

5.0 out of 5 stars Writings by Serge Kozlovsky, February 2, 2012

Love
Is a blessing of the heavens
And a steady work
At self-perfection.
If one could ever realize this simple truth
He'd feel the Love more stronger
And live enjoying it...
And there would be no place for a falsehood
In this world...

In the moment of despair when there is nobody to be called for help and there is none whom you can ask advice from, when your strength is nearing the end and it is difficult to keep on living, then comes this music. It consoles you and strengthens your spirit. Its warm waves touch you gently and under the influence of their splashes you forget the bitterness of losses and disappointments. Taking away expectations and intentions of others Grundman's music leaves you alone and gives strength to look at the outward things with your eyes.

This music is composed so as to help people. It expresses an aspiration and a hope for the dawn of a better world which can hardly be created without efforts of every person living on this planet. Grundman's music helps every listener to feel as a real part of all mankind and if once you realize the kinship with other people your life will become more quiet and clear.

Not by chance a Spanish composer Jorge Grundman, the founder of Non Profit Music, sends all profits from the sale of his albums to the world-famous Doctors Without Borders organization which helps to save the lives of people in those spots on the globe where people are in extreme need of help. The members of this organization fully appreciate that our Earth is a single whole living organism in which thoughts and deeds of every person have an influence on the others.

Grundman aspires to share his music with everybody and to help to save the lives of the people on the planet. «This is the idea of Non Profit Music... my next album will continue in this direction, and I'll try to convince other artists to do the same. Non Profit Music is not a matter of business, it's a matter of helping others... Every one of us can be useful in building a better world» -- just in these words Grundman characterizes his mission.

The album named «We Are the Forthcoming Past, Take Care of It» is a true new age - clear, sincere and very tuneful. No wonder that on the album case there is a dedication to a Norwegian composer Oystein Sevag. Grundman's music is congenial with Oystein Sevag's compositions. It is imbued with a lot of beauty and some peculiar north daintiness: while listening to it you imagine boundless ice fields sparkling under the sun and feel the warmth of an open heart of a real friend...

A new Grundman's album will bring a holiday to every new age music lover. This is our music, without which our future is just inconceivable. It can be such - quiet, clear and joyful as it seems after listening to this album. We are in the position to take care of a better world. It is not somewhere too far, it begins here. All world at large originates from each of us...

Among all riches
No treasure can be found
More precious than a heart
Which is wide-open for Love...

Serge Kozlovsky

5.0 out of 5 stars Music for your soul, April 6, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: We Are the Forthcoming Past, Take Care of It (Audio CD)
I received this CD in the mail last night and could not wait to play it. I listen to XM satellite radio in my car and had heard the track "Memory Holes" on the Watercolors (jazz) station. I liked it so much that I googled Grundman/Memory Holes and it led me to the CD that I just bought.

Every track on this CD is beautiful. On any CD by any artist, usually there are one or two tracks that aren't quite as good as the rest, but in the case of this Grundman CD, they are all wonderful.

This music will soothe your soul, uplift you, calm you, and the added bonus is that the proceeds from the sale of this CD benefit the very worthwhile cause of Doctors Without Borders.

I will be ordering another Grundman CD very soon!
