5.0 out of 5 stars Zits is always funny
I don't have a teen age son and never have, but I thoroughly enjoy the always 15-year old in Zits. The humor is never nasty, never off color, always fun and funny. Guaranteed enjoyment.

2.0 out of 5 stars a pretty tired work
Unfortunately, like most successful comics series (though fortunately not all), "Zits" has gotten repetitious and tired over the years; it's still OK for one strip in the morning paper, but a whole book of them just doesn't work any more:-(

I am currently teaching my 16 year old daughter to drive... This is my 2nd one as I taught my 20 year old son when he was 16 too.. I love Jermey as I see both my kids in him and his driving.. I so see myself in his Mom.. And the funny thing is.. My kids tell me that they see me in her too......

5.0 out of 5 stars Zits is hilarious, January 18, 2008

If you know a teen, have one, or just like clever humor, this book is definitely for you. You'll find yourself laughing out loud and smiling the whole time. It's very sophisticated with Jerry Scott writing and Jim Borgman drawing. Two very talented people collaborate to bring you Zits in all of its glory.

5.0 out of 5 stars A top recommendation for any family with a teen in residence, January 4, 2007
This review is from: Are We Out of the Driveway Yet?: Zits Sketchbook Number 11 (Paperback)
The 11th Zits cartoon strip sketchbook is out in Jerry Scott and Jim Borgman's ARE WE OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY YET?, which is a top recommendation for any family with a teen in residence. Parents will readily recognize their teen's attitude and angst in this hilarious collection of the latest black and white strips.

Just like raising another kid yourself, reading ZITS' "Are We Out of the Driveway Yet?" is a painless way to relive the teenager-raising period again. Just sit back and enjoy this without having to literally go there again, and right on time for holiday gift giving. Thanks Jim and Jerry!

3.0 out of 5 stars All about a rotten young whelp., August 13, 2007
This review is from: Are We Out of the Driveway Yet?: Zits Sketchbook Number 11 (Paperback)
Since the kid is part of the very superior age group called "teens", he looks down his long nose at his poor, wretched parents who can't seem to do anything right and are just plain dorks simply because they're part of a sadly inferior age group known as "adults".

The so-called "hero" is very slovenly, arrogant, self-centered, gluttonous, perverted, uncaring, stupid, and simply an ANNOYING character who seems to exist only to make the lives of his guardians an eternal HELL! (Sadly, their lives would have probably been a million times BETTER if they remained childless. Also richer, younger-looking, and MUCH happier, too.)

At least his friends seem much nicer than he is. Even his portly best friend, Hector seems like such a sweet young gentleman compared to this poor excuse for a human being.
