This book focuses on words within words. Crows wearing crowns and hairy chairs are just some of the fanciful illustrations to help children lean how to find smaller words inside bigger words.

This review is from: Are There Ants In Your Pants? (Hardcover)
For an early reader "Are There Ants In Your Pants" helps identify rhyming words in the English language. It has a fun, light, creative approach with bright illustrations and highlights of one word within another from one page to the next. The copy at our library is well-worn, proving this book will be requested again & again by your toddler/preschooler.Amy's style is consistent in all of her products--she has a wonderful sense of humor, as is obvious here. "Is a chair made of hair?" These questions, posed properly by an involved caretaker or parent, can really bring on the giggles! I look forward to more from Amy Meyer Allen!
