5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent video
Zecharia Sitchin really deserves to be a household name. His theories at a quick glance seem really far fetched , but once he starts backing up his theories (which he does) the man shows himself to be a genius. There is no other human that can decipher & educate people honestly about ancient Sumeria & the Sumerian texts as well as he does . He is not afraid to...

3.0 out of 5 stars Sitchin is in dire need of funding for his videos
I agree with what Sitchin has to say,but this video only touches on a sliver of his theory and the videos production looks like something right out of the 70`s. It does have some very interesting parts including a tiny showing of a temple of Inanna and various cylinder seals. Theres also an interesting visit to the naval observatory where Sitchins current orbit of the...

He is not afraid to shock mainstream science. In the not to far off future , I'm sure his theories will be more widely accepted by mainstream science. A must own video for all. It could have been produced a bit better but that will not stop me from giving him 5 stars. My only complaint is I did not want the video to end . He's a fascinating man with fascinating theories. If you haven't read this mans books , you are truly missing out on history being re-written.

I agree with what Sitchin has to say,but this video only touches on a sliver of his theory and the videos production looks like something right out of the 70`s. It does have some very interesting parts including a tiny showing of a temple of Inanna and various cylinder seals. Theres also an interesting visit to the naval observatory where Sitchins current orbit of the 12th planet is fully validated and some clips from Russian television about strange things the Russians have seen while exploring Mars. Unlike NASA,the Russians dont seem to have a problem sharing the odd stuff they find in space. I would have given this video a 5,but I felt it`s content and production were lacking. I was really hoping for a full video tour of the ruins from Sumer along with an in depth video presentation from his books and was somewhat dissapointed. A recent show on the History channel about aliens in prehistory showed much more from Sumer and Mesopotamia than this video did.

1.0 out of 5 stars more nonsense from fools who interpret wrong, May 27, 2004

This review is from: Are We Alone In The Universe? [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Sitchin is another Euro-idiot who discredits African knowledge, and like his predecessors he puts white faces over black faces. Indeed the original Sumerians were a Kwa group from southwest-central Africa who migrated to Europe and settled there. Sitchin interpretation of animalism and hieroglyphics, are a poor attempt to read the minds of its creators and culture inwhich he totally ignores the inherit account of its African ppl, inwhich all accounts can be traced back to Africa. This retard drops the ball about everything with nothing more than empty speculations that appear to match up to the hype but truly doesnt. Everyone who follows his garbage are nothing more than wishful thinkers who may be unhappy with their own lives, and so, seek refuge in fantasizing about the past. Sitchin would have everyone believe that civilization started in Sumeria and that the stories of aliens and the cosmos started with these ppl, but the African accounts of the cosmos and Aliens is over 4 million yrs old, and this was before the land mass broke up into the seven so-called continents, of today. The hittite europeans invaded the original Black Sumerians and took over their civilization, if u look at the old artifacts they will show black short stocky African ppl who were later depicted as being mixed, and then, ultimately white in appearance by the next 1,000 yrs. Nothing has change, as today europeans have taken over Africa enslaving and colonizing its ppl, given their opinion of being civilized.
