5.0 out of 5 stars Best End Times Book I've Read
After reading all of the Left Behind Series, I found this book at a friend's house and decided to read up on my Bible prophecy. Revelations is such a hard thing to understand that this book gave me an opportunity to understand where in the Bible all the info for the LB series comes from. The information also cleared up numerous questions that I had about the end...

3.0 out of 5 stars Accurate
Tim LaHaye(Like Lindsay, Van Impe, Hagee, etc.,) once again shows that he is not afraid to interpret Bible prophecy litterally. Tim returns to his roots in writing this book. It is a good introductory book for bible prophecy with a loads of content. This book is only for those who seek the truth. The return of Christ is near.

After reading all of the Left Behind Series, I found this book at a friend's house and decided to read up on my Bible prophecy. Revelations is such a hard thing to understand that this book gave me an opportunity to understand where in the Bible all the info for the LB series comes from. The information also cleared up numerous questions that I had about the end times. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants a deeper knowledge of Bible prophecy and its applications to our Christian walk and our world today.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful Witnessing Tool, January 8, 2000

As a historian and a bit of a student of prophecy, while also maintaining a bit of "taking things with a grain of salt"...I had been a bit standoffish toward prophecy writings for awhile...then the Left Behind series came about ...and I questioned myself and my faith, and I was restored with realizations about my life...even as a "so called Christian"...now, I must say that this book changed me even more... making me realize how much trouble the world is... how many antichrists there are in the church, in government, in the world at large... and quite possibly that one main AntiChrist is out there...

I was so startled by reading this book, I bought almost all my coworkers a copy...and gave out tapes of this book to the rest...

READ THIS BOOK...

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Overview, January 9, 2000
This book is designed especially for readers of the Left Behind series. It is a great book for those who accepted Jesus as a result of the books and want to find out more about Biblical prophecy. For those who want to start studying prophecy and have never read Left Behind this book is also a great springboard into the topic and lays a good foundation for further study. Prepare to be motivated!

This book is great for any one wanting to know if we are "Living in the End Times". I found it easy to read, not complicated at all. It's a great book to read if you are familiar with the Left Behind series. I highly recommend this book for any one wanting a good end time events book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great reference for Christians and non-believers alike., September 13, 2000
By
I suspect that no one was more surprised at the enormous success of the 'Left Behind' novels than the authors, Jerry Jenkins and Dr. Tim LaHaye. Although this book is obviously packaged to appeal to readers of the series, there's real meat here, much of it derived from two earlier books by Dr. LaHaye on the book of Revelation and the on-going debate over the timing of the Rapture. Christians familiar with biblical prophecies of the end-times will find this a handy reference, while readers with no real Bible knowledge will find a lot to think about. Both groups will enjoy the historical references and background, particularly those relating to the modern-day regathering of the nation of Israel after so many centuries in exile. Agree or disagree, no one will be bored by this book! Read it, ponder it, then ask yourself: "Could all this really happen in my lifetime?" You may be surprised by your final answer. Enjoy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Interesting Information..., June 8, 2000
I am a strong believer of Jesus Christ and I do believe that we are living in the end times. I did find the audio book interesting packed full of information about the signs already upon us and the signs already fulfilled. Although, I am not sure if some of the speculations made in this presentation is 100% accurate, I would have to urge the readers or listeners of the book/audio to search the Bible and test all things according to the light of scripture. It might be true that we are living in the end of the end of all ages, but a lot of others from the past believed this as well. Pay attention to the signs, but most importantly, read the Bible daily and pray to God so you will read it in it's proper context. Also, pray to God to be more like Christ, so when the rapture happens, you will be ready to meet the Maker.

4.0 out of 5 stars Curious about end time events?, November 2, 1999
By A Customer
This is a great book for anyone looking for insight on the prophecies surrounding the Rapture and associated events. LaHaye and Jenkins do a wonderful job of using scripture to support their opinion that we have more reason than any generation before us to believe that the Rapture will happen sometime in our generation.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Book For The Profecy-minded christian., July 5, 2000
By
If you haven't, as I have not, gotten any of the "Left Behind" Series, I think you will find in this book a summary of all these series. The authors made a statement that made a big impact in my life; "...thousands of our churches today never enjoy a prophetic message or sermon - not because the pastor doesn't believe in it, but because he doesn't know much about it." (Page 4, 5). It is very important to study prophetic events because, in my opinion, it motivates you to a life of holiness for God. This book will help you on your path to understand prophecy and the endtimes. I think you'll like it!
